Reports to: Area Sales Manager
Job Purpose
To focus on channel visitations that drive retailer awareness and turnaround on SIMs and Float, while ensuring strong visibility and merchandising at the point of purchase for SSOs and T-Kash agents.
Key Responsibilities
- SSO & Agent Recruitment & Mapping: Effectively manage the identification and recruitment of agents, targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.
- Call Rate: Visit SSOs and agents regularly using agreed route plans (beat plans).
- Training and Delivery of Business Tools: Provide all requisite tools for transactions at SSO and agent outlets, and train SSOs and T-Kash agents on processes.
- AML Training and Testing: Train agents on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures and train SSOs on KYC processes related to SIM registration.
- Float and Stock Cover & Sales: Monitor and effectively enforce the 1.5x stock rule for agents, and ensure SSOs have adequate stock of SIMs for new registrations and activations.
- Merchandising: Develop and maintain merchandising standards by providing merchandising materials at SSO and agent outlets.
Qualifications
Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
At least 1 year of experience in a sales and distribution role within an FMCG or telecommunications company.
