Job Title: Receptionist Intern

Location: Nakuru, Kenya (with potential relocation or travel to other locations in Kenya as assigned)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and professional Receptionist Intern to join their team. This role is key to supporting customer engagement, sales efforts, and overall business growth. You will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience while assisting with administrative and operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome customers, visitors, and partners with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Support the sales team by scheduling appointments, maintaining customer records, and following up on leads.
  • Assist with basic financial and administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and invoice processing.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies to customers.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives by identifying opportunities for improved customer engagement.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management to support daily operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer-facing experience (automotive or dealership experience is preferred).
  • Strong numerical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, self-driven, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Must be below 30 years of age.
  • Valid Class A or A1 driving license is an added advantage.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Nakuru or already be based there.
  • Flexible to work anywhere in Kenya as assigned.
