Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain and document patient medical histories and update electronic health records (EMR)
• Record vital signs, symptoms, and clinical observations accurately
• Assist in administering medications and vaccines under supervision
• Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory samples when required
• Prepare and maintain clean, sterile examination environments
• Support healthcare providers in daily clinical operations
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information
• Follow all healthcare compliance, privacy, and safety standards
Requirements:
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program
• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred OR 3+ years of experience with provider approval
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current CPR certification
• Participation in TB screening program for clinical compliance
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote clinical support environment
• Strong knowledge of:
• EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation
• Patient care procedures and clinical support workflows
• Infection control and healthcare safety standards
• Basic medical terminology and clinical operations
