Description:

Careerscape is supporting its client in hiring an Order Entry Clerk responsible for accurately processing and maintaining customer order information. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth coordination between customers, sales teams, and fulfillment operations.

The ideal candidate will ensure that every order is entered correctly, reviewed for accuracy, and processed in a timely manner. You will also help resolve discrepancies, maintain clean data records, and support internal teams with order tracking and updates.

This is a fully remote opportunity offering stability, structured workflows, and the chance to grow within a professional staffing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and process customer orders accurately into the order management system.

• Verify order details including pricing, quantities, and shipping information.

• Review incoming orders and resolve data discrepancies or errors.

• Coordinate with sales, fulfillment, and customer service teams.

• Track order status and communicate updates or delays to customers.

• Maintain accurate records across databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry, order processing, or administrative support.

• Strong typing speed with high accuracy in data handling.

• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/order management systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.

Strong knowledge of:

• Order Processing Systems

• Data Entry and Database Management

• Microsoft Excel

• ERP Systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle – preferred)
