Scope of Responsibilities
Floor Supervision & Service Excellence

Direct the daily operations of all assigned food and beverage service points, including primary dining areas, bar setups, and auxiliary lounges.

Enforce pristine organization, cleanliness, and staging across all guest-facing and backend service stations before, during, and after shifts.

Engage directly with guests on the floor, handling inquiries and resolving service feedback with ultimate professional diplomacy.

Partner tightly with the culinary team to guarantee smooth communication, correct order pacing, and immediate menu adjustments.
Personnel Leadership & Skills Training

Manage, inspire, and monitor an active team of food servers, hosts, bartenders, and clearing staff to meet set hospitality standards.

Construct balanced staff duty rosters and handle time-off requests, securing optimal floor coverage during peak weekend and holiday windows.

Conduct continuous on-the-job training covering upscale table service techniques, upsell strategies, and proper customer engagement manners.

Document employee floor behaviors, provide real-time performance feedback, and assist management with formal staff evaluations.
Inventory Control & Financial Accountability

Monitor, count, and manage daily beverage, linen, and dry stock levels, drafting precise replenishment orders to avoid service deficits.

Formulate detailed shift wrap-up logs, auditing point-of-sale (POS) summaries, cash drawer balances, and credit card transactions.

Enforce rigorous cost-control procedures, analyzing ingredient or beverage usage to actively minimize kitchen wastage and pilferage.

Coordinate with approved vendors and suppliers to inspect the quality and verify the delivery volumes of incoming kitchen and bar inventory.
Safety, Hygiene & Compliance Management

Maintain absolute alignment with local municipal health mandates, food handling bylaws, and emergency safety codes.

Run mandatory daily inspections across kitchen prep lines and storage units to confirm adherence to corporate hygiene policies.

Oversee structural side-work routines, ensuring complete sanitation of service cutlery, glassware, tables, and equipment.
Qualifications & Prerequisites
Minimum Requirements

Education: Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Options, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience within the hospitality space, featuring at least 3 years explicitly operating in a supervisory capacity within a restaurant or hotel setup.

Technical Savvy: Advanced hands-on proficiency working with modern hospitality Point-of-Sale (POS) software and basic Excel sheet logging.
