Job Description

Role Details:
A fast-growing Internet Service Provider is looking for a skilled Network Engineer to handle the design, deployment, and maintenance of network systems. You will work across fiber, wireless, and radio link infrastructure to ensure strong connectivity, high uptime, and secure operations. The role also involves close collaboration with the NOC and internal teams to deliver reliable and scalable network solutions for both business and retail clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design & Implementation

  • Design and deploy scalable ISP network infrastructure including fiber and wireless systems

  • Configure and maintain routing and switching environments using Cisco and MikroTik

  • Plan and execute network expansions and upgrades

Network Operations & Maintenance

  • Monitor network performance to ensure uptime and reliability

  • Troubleshoot outages, latency issues, and performance bottlenecks

  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patch management

Security & Compliance

  • Implement network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems

  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and mitigate risks

NOC & Support

  • Collaborate with the Network Operations Center for incident management

  • Provide tier 2/3 support for network-related issues

  • Maintain documentation for configurations and troubleshooting procedures

Customer & Internal Support

  • Support enterprise and retail customers with connectivity solutions

  • Work with internal teams including field engineers and technical support for service delivery

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Network Engineer in an ISP environment

  • Experience with fiber optic networks, wireless systems, and radio links

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco equipment and MikroTik configurations

  • Experience working with a Network Operations Center (NOC)

Certifications (Preferred):

  • CCNA / CCNP

  • HCIP

  • MikroTik certifications (MTCNA, MTCRE, etc.)
