Job Description

Opportunity Overview:
The role focuses on supporting daily pharmacy operations through accurate dispensing, inventory control, and patient engagement. You will ensure medications are handled safely, records are properly maintained, and all activities comply with regulatory standards while delivering efficient and professional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Medication Dispensing

  • Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications

  • Provide clear guidance on dosage, administration, and side effects

  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical dispensing standards

Inventory and Drug Management

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of pharmaceutical products

  • Track expiry dates and ensure proper drug storage

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movements

Customer and Patient Support

  • Offer professional advice on medication use

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding pharmaceutical products

  • Deliver excellent customer service and patient care

Regulatory Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations

  • Maintain accurate dispensing records and documentation

  • Support audits and inspections when required

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy

  • Must be registered and licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB)

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and dispensing practices

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good communication and customer service skills

  • Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
