Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and well-groomed Waiter to act as the face of our dining establishment. Your primary mission is to provide an inviting and seamless experience for every guest, from the moment they are seated until their departure. You will be expected to master our menu, offering expert recommendations and ensuring that orders are communicated accurately to the kitchen. This role requires a blend of high-speed efficiency and refined service etiquette, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment even during peak hours.

Core Deliverables

Service Execution & Guest Experience

• Provide a courteous welcome, ensuring guests feel valued and comfortable upon arrival.

• Navigate patrons through the menu, detailing ingredients and preparation methods for specials and standard dishes.

• Capture food and beverage orders accurately, utilizing prompt relay systems to the bar and kitchen.

• Execute table service with proper timing and etiquette, consistently checking in on guests to anticipate their needs.

• Address and resolve customer concerns professionally, maintaining a calm and helpful demeanor.

Operational Readiness & Maintenance

• Perform comprehensive mise en place duties, ensuring tables are perfectly set and service stations are stocked.

• Maintain the dining area’s hygiene, clearing and resetting tables immediately after use to maximize guest turnover.

• Manage opening and closing procedures, including the organization of service areas and inventory monitoring for breakages or shortages.

• Adhere strictly to company grooming standards and health and safety regulations.

Financial Accountability & Coordination

• Process customer bills with high accuracy, managing cash and POS transactions responsibly.

• Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure synchronized service delivery.

• Support team members during high-traffic periods to maintain a positive and efficient working environment.

• Education: Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Service.

• Domain Expertise: Experience in a restaurant or hotel setting with a focus on floor service.
