Description:
Laith Electromechanical LLC is currently looking to hire a reliable and highly organized Store Keeper to oversee and manage daily store operations in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong MEP background who understand material handling, stock control, and site coordination within construction or electromechanical environments.
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth inventory operations, accurate record-keeping, and proper storage of materials and equipment. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain systematic processes are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring they match purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Maintain precise inventory records using both manual logs and digital systems.
- Organize, label, store, and issue materials systematically to prevent loss or damage.
- Monitor stock levels regularly and proactively report shortages.
- Implement proper stock rotation methods to minimize wastage and material deterioration.
- Coordinate material transfers, freight arrangements, and track equipment movement.
- Support procurement activities, including handling minor or low-value purchases.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness within the storeroom.
- Oversee the disposal process for surplus, expired, or damaged materials.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management when required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Store Keeper or in a related inventory role.
- Strong understanding of inventory control and basic procurement procedures.
- Ability to maintain detailed records and generate inventory reports.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Honest, dependable, and capable of working independently.
- Must be currently residing in the UAE.
- Strong MEP experience is mandatory for this role.
