Senior Relationship Manager -Diaspora Banking & Business Club

Role Overview

We are adding to a team that is still growing, and we want to hear from professionals who bring real depth in their field alongside the creativity and ambition to shape how things are done. The person who fills this role will own the day-to-day delivery of their area, working alongside colleagues across the business to keep commitments on track and standards high. Your contribution will directly affect how quickly the team scales and how well it serves the people and partners who depend on it.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an assigned workload or portfolio, planning your own schedule and delivering to agreed deadlines and targets.
• Apply your specialist knowledge to daily decisions, exercising sound judgement on matters within your remit and escalating where appropriate.
• Coordinate with colleagues in other functions so that work moves smoothly across teams and hand-offs do not create delays.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting for everything you handle, in line with internal policy and regulatory expectations.
• Build and sustain productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external contacts, representing the team credibly in those conversations.
• Spot recurring problems or inefficiencies in your area of work and put forward practical, workable improvements.
• Keep current with developments in your discipline, including relevant regulation and market practice, and share what you learn with colleagues.
• Contribute to team meetings and reporting, and take on additional duties reasonably assigned by your line manager as the team evolves.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience in a comparable role, with evidence of delivering results and working without close supervision.
• Solid command of the technical skills your discipline requires, and the confidence to apply them independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, matched with close attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain complex matters to non-specialists.
• Comfort with the standard software and systems used in your field.
• High standards of integrity and discretion, and a working understanding of the compliance obligations that come with a regulated environment.
• A relevant degree or professional qualification; further certification in your area is an advantage.
• The creativity to question how things are done and the ambition to take on more as the team grows.
