A reputable law firm in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Arabic-speaking Senior Legal Advisor to join its legal team immediately. This opportunity is ideal for accomplished legal professionals with extensive UAE litigation experience and a strong understanding of local laws, court procedures, and legal advisory services.
The successful candidate will manage complex legal matters, prepare high-quality legal documentation, represent clients before UAE courts and judicial authorities, and provide strategic legal guidance across multiple areas of law. This position offers the opportunity to work in a professional and collaborative environment while handling high-profile legal cases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft legal memoranda, legal opinions, pleadings, statements of claim, and statements of defense.
• Prepare legal notices, court submissions, and other legal documentation.
• Represent and manage cases before UAE courts and relevant judicial authorities.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical legal advice on a wide range of legal matters.
• Liaise with courts, legal experts, and government authorities.
• Advise clients on legal risks, dispute resolution strategies, and compliance with UAE laws.
• Support the firm’s litigation and advisory practice by handling complex legal matters independently.
• Participate in expert meetings and provide strategic legal recommendations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or a higher legal qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of legal practice experience in a UAE law firm.
• Extensive experience drafting legal memoranda, pleadings, legal notices, court submissions, and legal opinions.
• Strong knowledge of UAE criminal, civil, commercial, family, real estate, and procedural laws.
• Proven experience appearing before Dubai Courts, Abu Dhabi Courts, and UAE Federal Courts.
• Practical experience dealing with judicial authorities across the UAE.
• Experience handling Expert Meetings.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, client relationship management, and negotiation abilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken, is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage complex legal matters independently while delivering strategic legal advice.
• Strong knowledge of:
