Role Overview
As Senior Accountant, you will oversee accounting work that helps ETST manage the financial demands of industrial engineering and metal contracting projects. Your focus will span project and cost accounting, reliable financial reporting, UAE tax compliance, and banking arrangements that support day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain project and cost accounting records, monitoring costs against relevant work and operational activities.
- Prepare financial reports and keep accounting records accurate and up to date.
- Support compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
- Coordinate letters of credit, bank guarantees, and other banking instruments.
- Use ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to support financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
- Help uphold effective financial controls across business operations.
- Contribute accounting expertise to engineering, manufacturing, or contracting activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 10 years of accounting experience, including work in manufacturing and contracting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong background in cost accounting, project accounting, and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Experience managing letters of credit, bank guarantees, and other banking instruments.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in the UAE construction or engineering sector is preferred.
