Job Description
- Oversee the day-to-day management of all school vehicles (buses, vans, and staff vehicles)
- Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, serviced, and compliant with regulatory requirements
- Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle servicing, fuel usage, and inspections
- Supervise and manage school drivers, including scheduling and performance monitoring
- Ensure adherence to road safety and student transport policies
- Coordinate transportation logistics for daily routes, school trips, and events
- Monitor fuel consumption and control operational costs
- Investigate and report accidents or incidents involving school vehicles
- Ensure all licenses, insurance, and inspection certificates are up to date
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in fleet management or transport coordination
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety regulations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to supervise and manage staff effectively
- Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting
