Solar Energy Sales Consultant
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar Energy Sales Consultant to join our team at Fireside Communications. In this role, you will promote and sell solar power systems, hybrid energy solutions, and backup systems to residential, commercial, and institutional clients. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, conducting site assessments, and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell solar power systems, hybrid energy solutions, and backup systems to residential, commercial, and institutional clients.
- Conduct site visits to assess client energy needs and recommend appropriate system configurations.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and presentations in collaboration with the technical team.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects and track performance through the company's CRM system.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Coordinate with engineering and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and emerging technologies.
- Represent Fireside Communications at trade shows, client meetings, and community outreach programs.
Qualifications
- Dip / Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or any related field.
- 2-4 years proven experience in solar energy, electrical systems, or technical solution sales.
- Experience selling installation-based or service-oriented products (not just retail items).
- Familiarity with solar design basics, power backup systems, or energy audits is a strong advantage.
- Prior work in telecom, networking, or security system sales is a plus.

- Strong understanding of renewable energy concepts, including solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and energy efficiency.
- Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP software.
- Customer-focused with a passion for clean energy and technology.
- A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
