Role Overview
As Business Analyst for airline e-commerce, you’ll shape requirements for digital products that help customers book flights and manage changes to their travel. You’ll connect business teams with delivery teams, turning customer and operational needs into clear, testable work that supports a smoother airline experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage business stakeholders to capture, analyse and maintain requirements for airline digital products.
- Translate requirements into user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria for development and testing.
- Examine booking, servicing and disruption workflows to identify process gaps and opportunities to improve the customer journey.
- Work with product, business and technical colleagues to clarify scope, resolve questions and support delivery decisions.
- Contribute to Agile planning and delivery activities, keeping requirements aligned as work moves through the development lifecycle.
- Use Azure DevOps or a comparable tool to track requirements, defects and related delivery information.
- Support analysis of airline disruption scenarios, including delays, cancellations, rebooking and other IRROPS-related customer needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least five years of overall professional experience, including four or more years in business analysis.
- Experience working with airline e-commerce, travel platforms or other digital product environments.
- Practical understanding of airline booking and customer-servicing processes, digital journeys and airline operations.
- Knowledge of IRROPS scenarios such as flight delays, cancellations, rebooking and disruption management.
- Experience with Agile delivery, requirements management, user stories and functional documentation.
- Capability in business process modelling and workflow analysis.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or a similar requirements and defect management platform.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work onsite in Dubai five days per week. Applicants based outside the UAE should be prepared to relocate and hold a valid passport.
