Job Title: Salesperson

About the Role

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Nairobi County, Kenya, with the flexibility of performing some tasks remotely. As a Salesperson, you will represent ICEA LION Group professionally, identifying and connecting with potential customers, building strong client relationships, and understanding customer needs to recommend suitable insurance and financial products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and connect with potential customers through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend customized insurance and financial products.
  • Set and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress.
  • Conduct market research and business development to identify new opportunities.
  • Represent ICEA LION Group professionally in all client and public interactions.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in Sales, Customer Relationship Management, Communication, and Negotiation.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services and Insurance products, with the ability to develop customized solutions.
  • Proficiency in Market Research, Business Development, and Strategic Planning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and a results-oriented approach to achieving targets.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in insurance sales is an advantage.
