Role Overview
This position is centered on growing the company's presence within a defined geographic territory, specifically across pharmacies, clinics, and retail health outlets. The core focus is to create and sustain strong commercial relationships that translate into consistent product sales and broader market acceptance. Daily responsibilities include visiting customers, monitoring product availability and visibility, and executing sales and marketing plans that support both short-term revenue targets and long-term business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain lasting relationships with pharmacists, retail buyers, and healthcare professionals, ensuring they view the company as a trusted partner for their product needs.
- Assess the territory's commercial potential by studying local market data, prescription patterns, and competitor activity, then use these insights to refine sales tactics.
- Introduce new products and medical lines to customers, clearly articulating the clinical and commercial value to secure early adoption and repeat orders.
- Monitor sales performance, stock levels, and shelf presence during each visit, proactively resolving any gaps that could limit product availability or attractiveness.
- Plan and run promotional activities, product awareness drives, and educational sessions that reinforce the company's portfolio and differentiate it from competing brands.
- Identify and enroll new healthcare providers and institutions within the assigned area, steadily expanding the referral and purchasing network.
- Follow all approved operating procedures and quality standards, keeping accurate records, expense reports, and customer interaction logs in line with company policy.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A diploma in pharmacy, life sciences, sales, marketing, or another related field; a university degree in one of these areas will be considered an advantage.
- At least three years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare sales, with a proven track record of managing territories and closing sales cycles.
- Strong familiarity with the local healthcare environment, including major hospitals, clinics, pharmacy chains, and the decision-making structures that influence product selection.
- Ability to convert analytical findings—such as sales reports, market trends, and customer feedback—into practical, measurable sales actions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, comfortable speaking with both commercial stakeholders and clinical professionals.
- Self-discipline and organizational capability to manage daily travel schedules, administrative duties, and follow-ups without compromising target delivery.
