Job Description

Position Title: Sales Agent – Electric Motorbikes

Role Purpose

We are seeking high-energy Sales Agents to spearhead the transition to sustainable transport in the Kisumu and Meru regions. As an ambassador for electric mobility, you will be responsible for expanding our footprint by converting traditional motorbike users and corporate fleets to eco-friendly electric solutions. This role requires a blend of technical product knowledge and aggressive sales tactics, focusing on lead generation, relationship management, and successful deal closure. You will be expected to operate independently in the field, representing the brand at trade shows and local events to meet ambitious growth targets.

Functional Responsibilities

Strategic Lead Generation & Acquisition

  • Actively scout and identify new business opportunities to broaden the customer base for electric motorbikes.

  • Qualify leads through diverse channels, including field outreach, digital platforms, and professional networking.

  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations, highlighting the unique technical features, cost-savings, and environmental benefits of EV technology.

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements for both the client and the organization.

Relationship Management & Post-Sales Support

  • Foster long-term loyalty by maintaining consistent contact with existing and potential clients.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for after-sales support, resolving queries and complaints to ensure high customer satisfaction.

  • Follow up with customers post-purchase to gather product feedback and identify future cross-selling or referral opportunities.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to align product offerings with local customer preferences.

Market Intelligence & Performance Tracking

  • Monitor regional market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in the EV sector.

  • Document all client interactions and sales activities meticulously within the company’s CRM system.

  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on sales conversions, prospect pipelines, and overall regional performance.

  • Achieve and exceed the monthly and quarterly sales benchmarks established by the management team.

Professional Requirements

Background & Experience

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in a related academic field.

  • Proven Tenure: Minimum of 3 years of experience in automobile sales, with a documented history of hitting or surpassing targets.

  • Licensing: Must possess a valid driving license (Motorbike category is a significant added advantage).

  • Technical Interest: A genuine interest in electric vehicle (EV) technology and sustainable energy solutions.
