Role Overview
You will be the face of TrailMyCar in your assigned region, introducing vehicle tracking and security systems to individual car owners, small businesses, and larger corporate fleets. Day to day, you will identify potential clients, arrange face-to-face meetings, explain how tracking protects assets and reduces fleet costs, and guide customers through the purchase process until they are active subscribers. Your success in building trust and closing deals directly expands the company’s customer base and recurring revenue, while reinforcing TrailMyCar’s reputation as a dependable security partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, visit, and follow up with prospective clients, including private vehicle owners, SMEs, and corporate fleet operators, to pitch tracking and recovery services.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through product demonstration, proposal, negotiation, and contract signing.
- Develop and maintain a structured pipeline of leads within your territory, keeping accurate records of all interactions, quotes, and outcomes.
- Meet or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets for new activations and retained clients.
- Conduct live product demonstrations, explaining features such as real-time location reporting, geofencing, and emergency response to different customer needs.
- Maintain strong post-sale relationships by checking in with clients, resolving basic onboarding questions, and coordinating with technical teams for installations.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, ensuring customers receive clear, courteous, and consistent communication.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 1–2 years of proven experience in field sales, ideally within vehicle tracking, telematics, or another asset-protection industry.
- Demonstrated ability to source and close new business independently, with strong negotiation, networking, and follow-through skills.
- A track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets, supported by measurable examples from previous roles.
- Comfortable working outdoors and travelling within the assigned region, with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with diverse customers ranging from individual owners to corporate procurement teams.
- Well-presented, self-motivated, and resilient in handling rejection and long sales cycles.
- Familiarity with the local dialect in the respective region is a strong advantage; previous experience within a vehicle tracking company is also an added plus.
What We Offer / Why Join
- Attractive compensation structure with a retainer plus commission based on performance.
- Real opportunities for career progression within a growing national tracking and fleet management company.
- A supportive, results-driven environment that rewards initiative, discipline, and consistent client satisfaction.
