Role Overview
In this position, you will drive revenue growth from corporate accounts and business travel partners by building lasting relationships and securing new business. Day to day, you manage a portfolio of key clients—negotiating contracts, loading rates, and aligning sales strategies with the hotel's profitability goals. Your work directly supports the hotel's financial targets through targeted account management and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on corporate travel, adjusting to seasonal trends and MICE opportunities.
- Build long-term partnerships with corporate clients, travel agencies, government bodies, and NGOs through regular engagement and customised proposals.
- Negotiate contract renewals and rate agreements with a strong emphasis on yield management and profit optimisation.
- Identify and win new corporate accounts across target industries, crafting tailored presentations that highlight the hotel's services.
- Drive revenue from room nights, food and beverage, and meeting/conference spaces within the corporate client base.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to inform tactical adjustments and forecast accurately.
- Represent the hotel at sales calls, trade events, exhibitions, and client entertainment, including organising familiarisation trips for high-value accounts.
- Maintain precise client records and contract performance data in the CRM system, providing weekly and monthly reports to leadership.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sales Account Manager in a 4- or 5-star hotel, ideally with an international brand.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with innovative problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing negotiations and presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and adapt to shifting market demands.
- Analytical mindset with solid financial management skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, sales reporting platforms, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
