- Proactively identify new accounts and opportunities within corporate, leisure, travel agency, tour operator, and event planning channels.
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation and proposal negotiation to contracting and post-event follow-up.
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts through regular check-ins, annual business reviews, and tailored solutions that reflect each client’s unique needs.
- Secure group bookings for conferences, meetings, weddings, and other large-scale events, coordinating closely with catering and operations teams.
- Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and customer preferences to uncover new revenue streams and inform commercial decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, accounts, negotiations, and revenue forecasts using CRM and reporting tools.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions, and partner with marketing to drive direct bookings and visibility.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree in hospitality, business, marketing, sales, or a closely related field.
- At least six years of hotel sales or business development experience, with a proven record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong background in B2B sales and corporate account management, including negotiating partnerships with agencies and event organisers.
- Solid understanding of hotel operations, including reservations, front office, and food and beverage workflows.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems, pipeline reporting, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Sharp commercial instinct, with the ability to spot opportunities and turn them into profitable business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence in front of senior decision-makers.
- A target-driven mindset, solid time-management, and the independence to work with minimal supervision while remaining a strong team player.
