Unimix, Universal Concrete Products Ltd. Co. (Unimix) L.L.C., a leading ready-mixed concrete supplier in Dubai, is looking for an experienced Safety Officer to join its team. This role is ideal for an HSE professional who is committed to maintaining workplace safety, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, performing risk assessments, conducting audits, and promoting a strong safety culture across company operations. Candidates with construction industry experience and relevant safety certifications will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and workplace assessments.
• Identify potential hazards and implement corrective safety measures.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
• Monitor and enforce safety procedures across project sites.
• Prepare safety reports and maintain HSE documentation.
• Provide safety guidance and awareness training to employees.
• Support the implementation of best safety practices within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
• NEBOSH Certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in HSE / Safety.
• At least 2 years of construction industry experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and safety practices.
• Ability to conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.
• Additional safety courses and certifications will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
