Job Description

Job Title: Field Sales & Business Development Representative

Location: Branch Catchment Areas

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Acquisition: Identify and acquire new customers through proactive field sales and business development activities.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive sales growth.
  • Product Promotion: Promote new products and create awareness of the company's products and services.
  • Customer Onboarding: Recruit and onboard new customers within the branch catchment areas.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Execute marketing initiatives, including staff engagement programs, garage programs, in-store promotions, trade shows, exhibitions, and product activations.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct regular customer visits to understand client needs and provide effective sales solutions.
  • Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Branch Support: Support branch retail teams in achieving sales and customer acquisition objectives.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop strategic local business partnerships to enhance market penetration.
  • Profitability: Drive branch profitability by achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets.
  • Innovation: Recommend innovative initiatives to improve branch sales performance and customer experience.
  • Campaign Implementation: Implement branch-specific marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Sales Planning: Prepare and execute weekly and monthly sales plans.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities using the company's CRM system (Zendesk Sell).
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market intelligence by monitoring competitor activities, customer trends, and emerging market opportunities, and provide actionable reports.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Work Style: Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Technical: Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
