Job Description

Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

About the Role

This position serves as the first point of contact for walk-in clients and visitors, and manages the switchboard to project a professional image of the office. The role also includes general administrative tasks to support the entire team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive and professional image of the company through effective management of the reception area.
  • Attend to visitors in a welcoming, pleasant, and courteous manner.
  • Direct customers to the correct individuals or departments and resolve queries timeously.
  • Receive and handle incoming calls on the switchboard.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Grade 12 Senior Certificate (essential).

Knowledge & Skills

  • Computer literacy (essential).
  • Switchboard operation experience (essential).
  • Strong verbal and communication skills (essential).
  • Excellent telephone skills (essential).
