Role Overview
You will join a well-established Nairobi real estate firm as a field-based sales executive, responsible for turning property enquiries into completed transactions. Your days will be split between scouting for qualified buyers, guiding them through on-site property viewings, and managing a steady flow of leads through the firm’s sales pipeline. Every sale you close directly contributes to the company’s revenue targets and strengthens its position in Nairobi’s competitive property market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential buyers through field networking, cold calling, direct referrals, and targeted outreach to build a consistent stream of property enquiries.
- Organise and lead physical site viewings, presenting each property’s features, surrounding amenities, and investment potential to prospective clients.
- Match residential and commercial listings to clients’ budget ranges and lifestyle requirements, recommending suitable options that align with their purchasing goals.
- Negotiate purchase terms within the firm’s approved pricing structures and manage the step-by-step process required to convert serious leads into signed agreements.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up routines with every prospect, keeping them engaged and moving through the sales funnel until a decision is reached.
- Promote current listings across social media, property portals, and other digital channels, creating posts and campaigns that generate qualified inbound enquiries.
- Represent the firm at property expos, open days, trade fairs, and promotional activations to expand brand visibility and capture new buyer interest.
- Record all customer interactions, site visit outcomes, and active leads in the company’s tracking systems, and submit weekly progress summaries to the Sales Manager.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A Degree or Diploma in Real Estate Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in real estate sales, property pitching, or high-value commercial sales with a proven ability to close deals.
- Solid knowledge of the Nairobi metropolitan property market, including land transactions, pricing trends, and what buyers in different zones are looking for.
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and comfort using CRM software or other digital communication tools to manage leads.
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills, with the confidence to guide clients toward a final purchasing decision.
- A target-driven, self-motivated work ethic, able to stay productive while working independently across multiple field locations.
