Description:
Daytona Properties is currently expanding its finance division and is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Accountant to join its growing team. This role is ideal for professionals who can take ownership of accounting operations from day one and bring strong expertise within the real estate sector.
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting activities related to property transactions while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and maintaining accurate financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a rapidly expanding real estate portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage complete accounting cycles for property-related transactions, including sales, leasing, and off-plan projects
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with accuracy and timeliness
• Handle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
• Monitor cash flow, escrow accounts, and developer trust accounts in compliance with RERA regulations
• Ensure adherence to UAE VAT laws and manage VAT filing and returns
• Assist with year-end closing activities and support external audit processes
• Maintain detailed records of property assets, depreciation schedules, and rental income
• Coordinate with brokers, developers, and property managers to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA will be considered a strong advantage
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years within the real estate industry
• Solid understanding of UAE financial regulations, VAT requirements, and RERA guidelines
• Experience using ERP or accounting systems such as Tally, Yardi, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
