Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer / Radiographer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Radiographer to join our medical imaging team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining the highest standards of care in compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake initial patient evaluation prior to imaging procedures.
- Provide diagnostic radiographs and perform ultrasound and Doppler examinations.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Ensure full government compliance with all radiation safety measures within the department.
- Ensure scheduled maintenance and calibration of medical equipment are in place and adhered to.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems in the department.
Qualifications
- Higher Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences from a recognized institution.
- BSc or Diploma in Imaging Sciences from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Valid and current practicing license.
