Hiring: Procurement Officer / Engineer
White Crescent Contracting & Fit-out is currently expanding its team and is looking to hire a motivated and detail-focused Procurement Officer / Engineer for its Abu Dhabi operations. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with relevant procurement experience, while fresh graduates who are eager to build their careers in procurement and supply chain are also encouraged to apply. Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, source, and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors
- Request, review, and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contract conditions with suppliers
- Prepare and issue purchase orders while maintaining accurate procurement documentation
- Coordinate closely with internal departments to understand material and service requirements
- Monitor deliveries to ensure timely supply of materials and services
- Maintain cost-effective purchasing strategies without compromising on quality standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations (preferred but not mandatory)
- Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are welcome to apply
- Male candidates preferred; engineering background will be considered an added advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective negotiation and vendor management abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical thinking and organizational skills
- Candidates available for immediate joining are highly preferred
This role requires a proactive individual who can handle procurement processes efficiently, manage supplier relationships professionally, and contribute to the smooth execution of contracting and fit-out projects.
