Spacemine Holdings is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, supplier negotiations, and purchasing for construction projects. Based in Kilimani, Nairobi, you will travel to project sites to ensure timely delivery, cost control, and quality procurement of materials, equipment, and services. You will support the company’s growth by maintaining efficient, compliant, and value‑driven procurement processes.

We need a skilled Procurement Officer to manage sourcing and supplier relationships across multiple live projects.
The Procurement Officer will oversee all procurement activities to ensure timely sourcing of construction materials and services at optimal cost and quality. You will manage suppliers, purchase orders, deliveries, and records while complying with company policies and procurement standards.
Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services.
Identify and manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
Prepare and issue purchase orders and track deliveries to site.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with site teams and project managers.
Ensure cost control and value for money in procurement.
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an approved vendor list.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules across project sites.
Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and purchase registers.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Knowledge of procurement processes, tendering, and contract management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic procurement or inventory systems.
Understanding of cost control and inventory management principles.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and pricing.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced environment.
