Description:

A leading organization in the UAE construction sector is currently seeking a strategic and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain operations for large-scale building projects. This role is ideal for professionals with strong procurement expertise within the UAE construction market and hands-on experience working with main contractors.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in managing procurement activities, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations while supporting project profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and manage vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for construction and building projects

• Lead procurement operations for mid and high-rise building developments across the UAE

• Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, payment terms, and supplier agreements to maximize project value

• Oversee the full procurement lifecycle from material requisitions (MR) to delivery, tracking, and project close-out

• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Commercial teams, and site operations to align procurement with project schedules and budgets

• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of construction materials and services

• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong long-term vendor relationships

• Conduct market analysis and evaluate pricing trends to support strategic purchasing decisions

• Ensure compliance with local UAE regulations, ISO standards, and internal procurement policies

• Maintain accurate procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier records

Requirements:

• 4–7 years of procurement experience with a Main Contractor in the UAE

• Strong background in construction procurement and supply chain management

• Proven experience handling mid and high-rise building projects within the UAE market

• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration skills

• Good understanding of procurement processes, commercial coordination, and project requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously

• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
