- Clean and sanitize washrooms several times a day, restocking soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and hand sanitizers whenever needed.
- Pay attention to high-touch points such as door handles, light switches, stair rails, and shared equipment to prevent the spread of germs.
- Use cleaning chemicals properly and safely, including correct dilution, storage, and labeling practices, while keeping all janitorial tools in good condition.
- Monitor cleaning stock levels and inform the Facilities team when supplies are running low so replenishment orders can be placed without delay.
- Greet visitors and staff courteously, handle urgent cleaning requests such as spills or accidental messes promptly, and assist with setting up furniture for meetings and events.
- Complete scheduled deep-cleaning tasks for office furniture, glass surfaces, and specialized workshop equipment as directed by the Facilities Supervisor.

- Good practical knowledge of sanitation standards, waste management basics, and safe chemical handling procedures.
- Clear spoken English and Kiswahili for smooth communication with staff, supervisors, and visitors.
- Physical fitness and stamina to carry out repetitive cleaning tasks, lift light equipment, and remain active throughout the working day.
- A strong sense of neatness and hygiene, with the ability to notice areas that need extra attention without being told.
- Reliable time management skills and a polite, professional attitude when interacting with colleagues and guests.
