Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nanny to join a private household in Runda. The primary objective of this role is to provide a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to grow and thrive. You will be responsible for the end-to-end care of the children, managing everything from their hygiene and nutritious meal preparation to supporting their early learning and emotional development. This position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about childcare, possesses a patient temperament, and understands the high standards of a private estate environment.

Key Deliverables

Comprehensive Childcare & Supervision

  • Provide vigilant supervision throughout the day to ensure the absolute safety and well-being of the children.

  • Manage daily routines seamlessly, including morning wake-ups, bathing, dressing, and structured bedtime schedules.

  • Monitor behavioral patterns and respond to children's needs with empathy and appropriate guidance.

  • Accompany children during outdoor play, appointments, or social activities as requested by the guardians.

Nutrition & Hygiene Management

  • Prepare simple, healthy, and age-appropriate meals and snacks following the household's nutritional guidelines.

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the children's personal spaces, including bedrooms and play areas.

  • Manage the laundry, ironing, and organized storage of all children's clothing and linens.

  • Ensure all toys, bottles, and play materials are regularly sanitized and safely stored after use.

Learning & Development Support

  • Engage children in creative play, reading, and educational activities tailored to their developmental stage.

  • Assist older children with basic homework and school-related tasks where applicable.

  • Foster positive social manners, etiquette, and emotional development through consistent and gentle reinforcement.

  • Provide regular, detailed updates to parents regarding daily progress, milestones, or any behavioral observations.

Applicant Profile

Professional Qualifications

  • Education: Certificate or relevant training in Childcare, Early Childhood Development (ECD), or a related field.

  • Experience: Prior experience as a nanny or caregiver in a structured household environment is a significant added advantage.
