Job Description

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician / Phlebotomist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Laboratory Technician / Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing patient specimens while maintaining strict quality control and compliance with safety standards. You will also manage laboratory equipment, inventory, and documentation, and collaborate with the broader medical team to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Specimen & Testing Management: Collect, process, and analyze patient specimens (including phlebotomy) accurately and promptly in line with laboratory SOPs.
  • Equipment & Inventory Care: Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab instruments; manage inventory and prepare necessary reagents.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Maintain strict quality control, participate in QA programs, and ensure total compliance with safety, biohazard, and regulatory standards.
  • Data & Confidentiality: Record, verify, and report test results efficiently while maintaining absolute patient confidentiality and meticulous documentation for audits.
  • Collaboration & Support: Partner with the broader healthcare team, assist in onboarding/mentoring junior staff, and handle other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology / Phlebotomy.
  • Valid Motorbike License.
