Role Overview
This position sits at the intersection of healthcare and marketing, where you will shape how medical and laboratory products are presented to clinicians, distributors, and institutional buyers. Your day-to-day work involves bringing product stories to life across print, digital, and live-event channels—while also supplying the sales team with the tools and intelligence they need to convert interest into orders. The role matters because clear, accurate, and compelling promotion directly influences product adoption in a highly regulated and technically demanding market.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns that introduce medical, laboratory, and diagnostic products to targeted professional audiences.
- Produce persuasive marketing collateral, including product catalogues, brochures, data sheets, and web copy tailored to healthcare professionals.
- Manage the company’s social media presence and website content, ensuring consistent messaging and a strong digital footprint.
- Plan and coordinate participation in trade shows, medical conferences, and continuous medical education (CME) sessions, handling logistics, materials, and follow-up.
- Carry out market research and competitor benchmarking to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for differentiation.
- Equip the sales team with up-to-date product knowledge, promotional kits, and qualified leads generated through campaign activities.
- Coordinate product launches—from internal briefings to external vendor collaboration—ensuring every launch touches the right audience at the right time.
- Track marketing performance metrics, including campaign reach, engagement, conversion, and return on investment, and compile clear reports for management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a closely related discipline.
- A diploma in Marketing, Nursing, Clinical Medicine, or a related field will be considered when paired with demonstrable industry experience.
- At least 1–3 years of hands-on experience in marketing, brand management, or product promotion, ideally within medical, healthcare, or FMCG environments.
- Proven ability to plan and run campaigns, launch products, and organise promotional events from concept to completion.
- Solid grasp of digital marketing tools, social media management, and basic web content administration.
- Strong written communication, copywriting, and content creation skills, with attention to accuracy and audience fit.
- Professional certifications such as CIM, MSK, NCK, or equivalent will be viewed favourably.
