Job Description

Position: Market Expansion Aftersales Executive

Industry Sector: Automotive / Manufacturing / Retail

Remuneration: Kshs. 30,000

Location: Nairobi, Eastern & Central Region

Primary Mandate

We are looking for a high-performing Market Expansion Aftersales Executive to lead our regional growth and strengthen our dealer network. Your core objective is to identify untapped market potential and establish a robust presence for our aftersales products and services. You will act as the primary link between the brand and our business partners, overseeing everything from territory mapping and dealer recruitment to spare parts sales growth. This role demands a strategic thinker who can analyze competitor trends and execute aggressive penetration plans while ensuring that our customers receive world-class support.

Core Workstreams

Regional Expansion & Partner Onboarding

  • Conduct detailed territory mapping and market surveys to pinpoint high-growth areas for service centers and spare parts outlets.

  • Source, evaluate, and recruit strategic dealers and business partners to expand the brand’s geographic footprint.

  • Facilitate smooth onboarding and orientation for new partners, providing the training and operational tools needed for success.

  • Draft and implement regional penetration strategies to increase brand visibility and market share.

Aftersales Commercial Growth

  • Drive revenue through the active promotion of spare parts and aftersales services across your assigned territory.

  • Collaborate with dealers to monitor stock movement and demand trends, ensuring optimal inventory availability.

  • Design and execute market activation campaigns and promotional activities to stimulate spare parts sales.

  • Monitor dealer performance against sales targets and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Relationship Management & Intelligence

  • Maintain high-touch engagement with dealers to ensure compliance with company standards and long-term loyalty.

  • Serve as the point of contact for customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring rapid and professional resolution.

  • Gather "on-the-ground" market intelligence, including competitor pricing and emerging opportunities, to inform management decisions.

  • Submit comprehensive weekly and monthly activity reports detailing sales performance and market developments.

Candidate Requirements

The Essentials

  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Domain Expertise: Minimum of two (2) years in a market expansion, business development, or aftersales role.

  • Sector Advantage: Experience specifically within spare parts sales or aftersales operations is highly preferred.

  • Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and data analysis.

Required Competencies

  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to recruit partners and close business deals in a competitive landscape.

  • Analytical Thinking: Capability to map territories and interpret market trends effectively.

  • Autonomy: Highly organized and able to hit targets with minimal supervision while working in the field.

  • Interpersonal Savvy: Skilled at building and maintaining diverse relationships with dealers and end-users.
