Role Overview
This internship puts you directly in the field, working face-to-face with restaurant owners and managers to help them get more value from our client’s food delivery platform. Each day involves planning visit routes, reviewing partner performance data, and having structured conversations that lead to practical operational improvements. Your work matters because partner success directly drives platform growth, so your ability to rebuild trust with disengaged accounts and fine-tune everyday operations will have a measurable impact on both revenue and long-term satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute a regular schedule of in-person visits to restaurant partners, prioritising accounts that need the most operational support.
- Diagnose why specific partners are underperforming or disengaged, then agree on concrete action steps to lift sales, reduce downtime, and improve order accuracy.
- Track and respond to core operational metrics including uptime rates, cancellation levels, and menu completeness, flagging issues that require immediate attention.
- Serve as the visible, approachable face of the platform during every visit, handling questions, objections, and concerns with professionalism and clarity.
- Collect structured feedback from partners about tools, policies, and communication, then summarise recurring themes for internal teams to act on.
- Maintain accurate records of each visit, including outcomes, agreed next steps, and changes in partner behaviour, using simple tracking tools and spreadsheets.
- Follow up remotely between field visits to ensure partners stay on track and continue applying recommended improvements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma, ideally in business, management, marketing, or a social sciences discipline.
- Some prior exposure to commercial environments, customer service, or sales is strongly preferred, especially roles involving regular client interaction.
- Comfortable working outdoors and travelling to different restaurant locations throughout the day, with reliable transport and a flexible schedule.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain operational concepts in simple, persuasive language.
- A coachable, proactive attitude: open to feedback, eager to learn the platform’s inner workings, and resilient when partners are difficult or sceptical.
- Results-driven mindset with strong organisational skills, capable of managing a high volume of visits, calls, and follow-up tasks without losing attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and data reporting, enough to log activities, spot trends, and present findings clearly.
