Role Overview
This role centres on driving automotive sales growth by actively reaching out to both new and existing customers, while also managing incoming enquiries. You will act as the first point of contact for buyers, guiding them from initial interest through to scheduled showroom visits and demonstrations. Your daily efforts in lead qualification and persistent follow-up will directly support the sales team in meeting revenue targets and building a strong customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively place outbound calls to prospective and current clients, presenting the company’s vehicle range and service offerings clearly and persuasively.
- Handle incoming customer enquiries with accurate, up-to-date product knowledge, spotting opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional automotive products and accessories.
- Identify, qualify, and nurture leads across multiple channels, including phone, WhatsApp, and social media, ensuring no potential sale is overlooked.
- Maintain consistent contact with prospects, following up at the right moments to keep deals moving forward and shorten the sales cycle.
- Listen carefully to customer needs and recommend the most suitable vehicles, equipment, or add-on services based on their budget and usage requirements.
- Log every interaction, enquiry, and follow-up action accurately in the CRM system, keeping records current and accessible for the wider sales team.
- Coordinate appointments, showroom visits, test drives, and sales meetings on behalf of the team, ensuring seamless handovers and minimal friction for customers.
- Contribute to lead generation initiatives, market research, and feedback collection that help refine sales strategies and improve conversion rates.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong command of both verbal and written communication, accompanied by a confident, polished telephone manner that puts customers at ease.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for sales, customer service, and the automotive sector, with a desire to understand vehicle specifications and industry trends.
- A persuasive and energetic personality, comfortable initiating frequent outbound calls and engaging with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Solid computer literacy, including practical experience with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office tools, WhatsApp Business, and other digital communication or social media management tools.
