Al Salam Community School, a well-established independent institution with over 40 years of educational excellence, is currently seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant – Accounts Receivable to join its finance team. This position plays a crucial behind-the-scenes role in ensuring smooth financial operations, particularly in managing receivables and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and capable of handling financial tasks with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the complete Accounts Receivable cycle, including billing, collections, reconciliation, and reporting
• Ensure accurate invoicing for tuition fees and other school-related charges
• Follow up on outstanding payments and support effective cash flow management
• Reconcile financial data across multiple systems and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with financial reporting, audits, and continuous process improvements
• Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Admissions, IT, and Credit Control
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting
• Prior experience within the UAE education sector is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication skills when interacting with parents and stakeholders
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly
