Description:
A company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals who are looking to build their careers while contributing to the organization’s day-to-day financial operations.
The successful candidate will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, supporting month-end activities, and ensuring smooth accounts payable and receivable functions. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record daily accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Support month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and organize accounting documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience; UAE experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong knowledge of:
• Accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
• MS Excel and accounting software.
• Bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and UAE VAT.
