Junior Accountant

Role Overview

As a Junior Accountant in Bowling Dubai’s finance team, you will help keep everyday financial records accurate and up to date. Your work across payables, receivables, reconciliations and VAT support will contribute to reliable reporting and well-organised accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain routine financial transactions, checking that supporting documents are complete.
• Assist with processing supplier invoices and monitoring accounts payable.
• Help track customer receipts and outstanding balances within accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank activity against accounting records and follow up on discrepancies.
• Prepare or update finance schedules and reports using Excel and the organisation’s accounting systems.
• Support VAT-related record keeping and accounting tasks in line with UAE requirements.
• Provide assistance with routine financial reporting and other day-to-day accounting work.

Requirements & Qualifications

• One to two years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial record management.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence preparing financial reports.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and related accounting practices.
• Strong attention to detail and the organisational skills needed to manage financial documentation accurately.
