Finance Manager

Role Overview

The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting and financial controls for a Dubai-based swimming pool engineering business. By tracking project costs and performance, maintaining reliable records, and meeting UAE VAT requirements, this role helps teams make informed decisions and keeps the company’s financial operations running accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the general accounting records and oversee routine financial operations.
• Produce monthly cash flow reports and review the profitability of individual projects.
• Track project expenditure, operating costs, and actual performance against budgets.
• Manage petty cash, supplier payments, customer collections, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare tax invoices and file UAE VAT returns in line with applicable requirements.
• Work with Operations, Projects, Procurement, and Audit colleagues to resolve financial queries and support accurate reporting.
• Use ERP tools and Excel to organise financial data, monitor results, and prepare reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Relevant finance and accounting experience in the UAE.
• Practical knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Understanding of UAE VAT rules, taxation, and financial compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and organisational ability, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
