Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join a fast-paced corporate environment in the UAE. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced IT professional who possesses strong technical knowledge along with a customer-focused approach to delivering IT services and support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-user support, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth daily operations across the organization. You will work closely with different departments to resolve technical issues efficiently while maintaining high service standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support or helpdesk functions within a corporate setting
  • Strong expertise in Windows Operating Systems, desktop administration, and endpoint support
  • Previous experience supporting universities or academic institutions is considered a strong advantage
  • Practical experience using ServiceDesk or other IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms
  • Solid understanding of ITIL framework principles and service delivery best practices
  • Experience working with Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint security tools
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts including LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Certifications:

  • CompTIA A+ and/or Network+
  • ITIL Foundation (v4) certification
  • Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • Experience with ManageEngine tools such as ServiceDesk Plus, Asset Explore, and Endpoint Central
