Omnidian is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Invoicing Consultant to join its remote team. As a fast-growing technology-enabled service company supporting the solar and energy storage industries, Omnidian is focused on improving customer experiences and creating a more sustainable future.
The successful candidate will investigate invoice discrepancies, collaborate with internal teams and field service partners, and develop solutions to improve invoicing processes. This role requires a consultant mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience working with solar operations and invoicing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and resolve commercial business invoice discrepancies efficiently.
• Review Salesforce data and partner invoices to identify the source of billing issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine valid discrepancies and required corrections.
• Communicate with field service partners regarding invoice concerns and resolution steps.
• Maintain detailed records of invoice discrepancies and related actions.
• Analyze discrepancy data to identify recurring patterns and operational improvement opportunities.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent future invoicing issues.
• Present process improvement recommendations to leadership teams.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of solar industry experience involving technical troubleshooting.
• 2+ years of invoicing experience.
• Experience with commercial solar systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Consultant mindset with the ability to understand problems before developing solutions.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple teams.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.
• Experience in invoicing within a large or regulated environment is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Invoice processing and discrepancy resolution.
• Data analysis and process improvement.
• Solar industry operations and technical troubleshooting.
• CRM systems, especially Salesforce.
