A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join its team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong understanding of construction materials, inventory management, warehouse coordination, and stock reconciliation within the UAE construction industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring material movement, and ensuring construction materials are properly tracked and available when required. This position requires excellent organizational skills, ERP system experience, and the ability to work closely with procurement, warehouse, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor the receiving, issuing, transferring, and return of construction materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records for materials, tools, and consumables.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and perform stock reconciliation.
• Track material consumption, shortages, and excess inventory.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Site, and Project teams.
• Prepare inventory reports, stock statements, and material movement records.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure material availability.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper documentation, storage, and handling of construction materials.
• Utilize ERP/inventory systems and Microsoft Excel to maintain inventory accuracy.
Requirements:
• 3–5+ years of relevant inventory control experience.
• UAE construction industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and consumables.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills with experience in stock reconciliation.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Immediate or short notice availability is preferred.
