- Support the implementation and configuration of new computer systems, from initial setup to final handover.
- Provide responsive user support, resolving common technical problems and guiding staff through system functions.
- Deliver training sessions and create simple user guides that help colleagues use ICT tools confidently.
- Carry out routine repairs and preventative maintenance on computers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Monitor system performance, including network connectivity and device health, to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Document faults clearly and submit detailed reports to the appropriate teams for further investigation and resolution.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information communication technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and common office software applications.
- Familiarity with network fundamentals and basic troubleshooting of connectivity issues.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify performance problems and propose practical fixes.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and maintain accurate records of maintenance and fault reports.
