Description:
We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated HSE Officers to join a leading construction team in Dubai. This role is ideal for safety professionals who have substantial hands-on experience within the UAE construction sector and possess a strong understanding of local safety regulations and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of proven experience working as a Safety Officer within the UAE construction industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum educational qualification.
- NEBOSH IGC Certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive risk assessments and create detailed safety procedures and plans.
- Conduct routine inspections at project sites to identify and address unsafe conditions.
- Ensure all HSE-related activities are effectively planned, implemented, and monitored throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and manage HSE plans, emergency response plans, safety forms, and documentation, ensuring proper approvals and compliance.
- Compile and submit weekly and monthly HSE performance reports, statistics, and presentations.
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety induction sessions for site workers and staff.
- Monitor tools and equipment to ensure they are safe, properly maintained, and compliant with safety standards.
- Identify potential hazards before task commencement and implement preventive measures.
- Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and maintain accurate safety records.
