Job Description
Job Purpose
- The HR Intern will provide support to the Human Resources department in daily operations,including employee record management, recruitment, payroll, performance appraisals, and
- office administration. This role is designed to give practical exposure to HR processes whilecontributing to organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
HR Support
- Assist in maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring confidentiality and timely updates on leave and attendance.
- Support payroll processing, employee onboarding, and offboarding .
- Provide recruitment support by screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting in disciplinary hearings with proper documentation.
- Assist in performance appraisals by ensuring evaluations are completed on time and documentation is properly filed.
Office Administration & Supplies Management
- Ensure monthly shopping and stationery budget allocation is completed at the end of each month.
- Oversee daily supply of weekly breakfast and water refills within allocated budgets.
- Maintain adequate warehouse operational resources (GRNs, reflectors, receipt books,uniforms, dispatch books ,tapes).
Other Duties
- Perform any other duties assigned by the HR department or management.
- Administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Completed a degree/diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
