HR Consultant

Position Overview

• Our client, operating within the business management sector, is seeking to recruit experienced HR Consultants to support organizations across the East Africa region.
• The role involves delivering end-to-end human resource support, including recruitment, HR administration, employee relations, and compliance, while ensuring alignment with local labour laws and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Coordinate recruitment processes (job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding).
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate databases.

HR Administration

• Manage employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
• Maintain HR systems and prepare reports.

Employee Relations

• Handle employee HR inquiries and support engagement initiatives.
• Assist in resolving employee relations issues.

Performance Management

• Support performance appraisal processes and tracking.

Training & Development

• Coordinate staff training and development programs.

Compliance & Policies

• Ensure compliance with labour laws and HR policies.
• Support policy implementation and review.

Payroll & Leave Administration

• Maintain leave records and support payroll processes.
• Ensure statutory compliance and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certified Human Resource Professional – Kenya (CHRP-K) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant HR experience, preferably within a structured or academic environment.
