Job Description
Position Overview
- Our client, operating within the business management sector, is seeking to recruit experienced HR Consultants to support organizations across the East Africa region.
- The role involves delivering end-to-end human resource support, including recruitment, HR administration, employee relations, and compliance, while ensuring alignment with local labour laws and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment processes (job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding).
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate databases.
HR Administration
- Manage employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Maintain HR systems and prepare reports.
Employee Relations
- Handle employee HR inquiries and support engagement initiatives.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues.
Performance Management
- Support performance appraisal processes and tracking.
Training & Development
- Coordinate staff training and development programs.
Compliance & Policies
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and HR policies.
- Support policy implementation and review.
Payroll & Leave Administration
- Maintain leave records and support payroll processes.
- Ensure statutory compliance and documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Human Resource Professional – Kenya (CHRP-K) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant HR experience, preferably within a structured or academic environment.
Key Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems
