Health & Safety Officer

Oasis International School in Al Ain is currently looking to appoint a qualified and proactive Health & Safety Officer to support and maintain a secure, compliant, and well-managed environment for both students and staff. The school places strong emphasis on safety standards and regulatory compliance, and this role plays a vital part in ensuring those standards are consistently upheld.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing health and safety policies, monitoring compliance, and promoting a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience working as a Health & Safety (HSE) Officer
• Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver safety guidance effectively
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Capability to manage documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements

Additional Certifications (At Least One Required):

• Certification in Incident Investigation and Reporting
• Accredited First Aider and Fire Fighter certification
• Working knowledge of ADPHC’s electronic OSH reporting system

The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring adherence to safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, coordinating emergency preparedness procedures, and maintaining accurate safety records. Attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to foster a safety-first culture are essential for this position.
