Job Description

Role Overview

This is a senior commercial leadership position within a fast-growing property management and real estate company based in Westlands, Nairobi. Working directly with the CEO, you will take ownership of the company’s full growth agenda, blending revenue optimization, business development, partnership building, and marketing strategy to expand the managed property portfolio. Day to day, you will analyse performance metrics, negotiate high-value contracts, direct pricing and occupancy strategies, and lead a cross-functional team focused on measurable top-line results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute quarterly and annual commercial growth plans that align with the company’s revenue targets and portfolio expansion goals.
  • Own revenue management across all properties, setting pricing strategies and monitoring key metrics such as occupancy rates, average daily rate, and RevPAR to maximise yield.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, tracking pipeline health, lead conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
  • Diagnose underperforming property units and implement targeted turnaround plans covering pricing, positioning, and operational adjustments.
  • Build and manage high-value relationships with corporate clients, NGOs, property developers, landlords, and relocation agencies to secure management contracts and corporate leases.
  • Lead negotiations for new property management agreements, client onboarding, and lease renewals, while developing referral programmes and secondary revenue streams.
  • Oversee integrated marketing campaigns, SEO initiatives, and brand positioning to drive lead generation and maintain high occupancy across the portfolio.
  • Investigate expansion opportunities into new geographic areas, property segments, and emerging markets, presenting data-backed recommendations to the CEO.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Commerce, Marketing, Hospitality, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 6–8 years of progressive experience in business development, commercial growth, sales leadership, or revenue management.
  • Previous experience in real estate, property management, serviced apartments, or hospitality is a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated success in managing sales pipelines, negotiating complex commercial agreements, and building long-term partnerships.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including working knowledge of real estate market dynamics, yield management, financial modelling, and acquisition strategy.
  • Proven leadership ability with experience aligning sales, operations, and marketing teams around shared growth objectives.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach, comfortable using performance metrics to refine commercial strategies and forecast revenue.
  • Based in or around Nairobi, with the ability to work on-site in Westlands and a strong preference for candidates with direct commercial real estate experience.

What We Offer / Why Join

This is an on-site leadership role offering a net monthly remuneration of between KSh 150,000 and KSh 200,000, commensurate with experience. You will work closely with the CEO in a high-growth environment, gaining direct influence over the company’s commercial direction, portfolio growth, and long-term market positioning.
